Centre of gravity
The point at which the whole mass of a part can be thought of as concentrated. With the suspension point above it, the part hangs still; off centre, it tilts until the two align. For asymmetric parts – motors with terminal boxes, housings with attachments – a sliding pick-up point is therefore basic equipment, not a special option.
