Hoist inspection and maintenance in East Westphalia-Lippe
Furniture, machinery, electrical engineering: in East Westphalia-Lippe large, flat and delicate parts are moved. That shapes the equipment – and what wears on it.

Where panels, fronts and housings are handled, vacuum lifters do the work. Their wear is not in the hoist but at the suction cups and in the vacuum generation: sealing lips harden or tear, filters clog with wood and sanding dust, and the holding force drops without anyone noticing. Lifting attachments of this kind are work equipment in their own right and are inspected periodically like the hoist – including the safety devices that hold the load if the power fails.
In the region’s machine building and electrical engineering, assembly is in the foreground: balancers and manipulators guided sensitively for many hours a day. There the condition of rope, guide and control decides whether the device is used or stands aside. From our Hamm office, East Westphalia-Lippe is a day trip along the A 2 motorway; inspection and maintenance can be combined in one visit.

Bring the workpiece to the machine, not the back.
To the industryElectrical and electronics
Heavy and delicate at once – that is the combination.

Hygienic, wash-down proof – and still sensitive.
To the industryFrequently asked questions about inspection and maintenance
Do vacuum lifters have to be inspected separately?
Yes. A vacuum lifter is a lifting attachment and is inspected periodically – suction cups, hoses, vacuum generator, warning device and the safeguard against power failure are all part of it.
How do I notice that the holding force is declining?
At the vacuum gauge, when the operating vacuum is reached more slowly or drops at standstill, and at suction cups that are visibly hardened, cracked or deformed. Both are reasons to have the device inspected.
Can you adapt an existing device to new parts?
Often yes, for example with a different lifting attachment. Whether the modification is a substantial modification of the device is assessed and documented beforehand.
Tell us what you have hanging.
Type, capacity, year of manufacture and last inspection date are enough to start. We will give you a date and what it covers.
