Hoist inspection and maintenance in the Rhineland
Along the Rhine, chemical sites, vehicle manufacturing and machine building lie close together. For a hoist that means strict requirements for documentation, explosion protection and availability.

At the chemical sites of the Rhineland, clear rules apply to contractors and work equipment: records must be complete, work is released by permit, and in hazardous areas only suitable equipment and spare parts may be used. The inspection of a hoist is worth only as much as its documentation – findings, defects identified, deadline for rectification, next inspection.
In vehicle manufacturing and at its suppliers, availability is what counts: a manipulator on the line that fails stops the station. There it pays to replace wear parts by running time rather than by condition, and to schedule maintenance in planned breaks. From our Bochum office the Rhineland is a day trip; we also inspect and maintain equipment we did not supply.

To the industryFrequently asked questions about inspection and maintenance
Which documents do I receive after the inspection?
An inspection record per device with date, scope, findings, defects identified and their assessment, and the date of the next inspection – in a form that can be assigned unambiguously to the device.
Do you work to the site’s permit procedures?
Yes. Work permits, inductions and access rules of the site are part of scheduling. Tell us the requirements beforehand so that the visit does not end at the gate.
Do you also carry out repairs following an inspection finding?
Yes. Defects that can be rectified on site are dealt with straight away by agreement; for larger work you receive a quotation with parts and date.
Tell us what you have hanging.
Type, capacity, year of manufacture and last inspection date are enough to start. We will give you a date and what it covers.
