Changeover time
The time between the last good part of one series and the first good part of the next. It is pure downtime and therefore the starting point of every economic calculation in handling technology. Where a tool or roll change today ties up two people and an overhead crane, the changeover time saved is usually the bigger item than the physical strain saved.
