Manipulator
Hand-guided device with rigid kinematics that carries the load while the operator only guides it. Unlike a balancer, the rigid arm also absorbs lateral forces and tilting moments – which makes it the right design as soon as parts are joined, rotated or worked against a stop. Common types are pillar, articulated-arm and lifting-axis units.
