I-GO Articulated Boom

Articulated arm plus integrated lifting axis.

A manipulator in a floor or suspended version that combines the articulated arm with an integrated I-GO lifting axis: a large jib radius of up to 3 m and sensitive lifting of up to 350 kg in one system.

How it works

Reach and lift in a single unit.

The articulated arm brings the load up to three metres out, the built-in lifting axis raises it precisely there. Two movements, one system – and one handle for the operator.

    Floor / suspended column

    Fixed position for the jib.

  2. 2

    Articulated jib

Articulated arm with a radius of up to 3 m, adjustable friction brakes.

    Integrated I-GO lifting axis

Fast pneumatic lifting unit directly in the arm.

The working cycle

Picking up

Attach the load – the system takes the weight.

Lifting

The integrated lifting axis raises quickly and steplessly.

Slewing & guiding

The articulated arm guides the load freely within a radius of up to 3 m.

Positioning

Set down sensitively and precisely.

Applications

Wherever loads are moved precisely.

01

Assembly workstations

Typical in the automotive and supplier industry: parts are fed, positioned and joined ergonomically – without effort.

02

Machine loading

For metal and plastics processing: place workpieces safely into machines and fixtures, without reaching into the danger zone.

03

Order picking & packaging

In logistics and consumer goods production: move boxes and containers sensitively – consistent output, spared backs.

04

Workpiece handling

In tool and mould making: guide heavy parts safely and position them precisely.

05

Food industry

For dairy, beverages and meat: usable hygienically with a food-grade Rilsan coating.

06

Explosion-proof areas

In chemicals, coatings and pharmaceuticals (ATEX zones): approved and safe in the explosion-proof version.

Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions about the I-GO Articulated Boom

What does the integrated lifting axis add over a rope hoist?

It guides the load vertically and rigidly instead of on a rope. When feeding into a fixture the last centimetre decides – a rigid axis does not swing afterwards.

What are the adjustable friction brakes for?

They damp the movement of the joints. That lets you set how freely the arm runs: light for fast transfers, firmer for calm positioning of a delicate part.

Which radius is right?

There is roughly 2,000 and 3,000 mm. Size for the most distant point that actually occurs in service – not the most frequent one. Extending later usually means a new unit.
