Lifting device
A component between lifting equipment and load that is not part of the lifting equipment itself – for example a beam, tongs, a vacuum lifter or a C-hook. Non-fixed lifting devices fall under standard EN 13155 and require their own conformity assessment as well as recurring inspection.
