How it works

The unit comes to the work, not the other way around.

On its mobile base plate the articulated arm stands at the press today and at the assembly bench tomorrow. No foundation, no rail – just a floor that carries.

The working cycle

Approaching

Move the unit to the place of use on its mobile base plate.

Picking up

Attach the load – the articulated arm takes the weight.

Guiding

Slew, articulate and lift at the place of use.

Setting down

Position sensitively, then continue travelling.

Applications

Wherever loads are moved precisely.

01

Assembly workstations

Typical in the automotive and supplier industry: parts are fed, positioned and joined ergonomically – without effort.

02

Machine loading

For metal and plastics processing: place workpieces safely into machines and fixtures, without reaching into the danger zone.

03

Order picking & packaging

In logistics and consumer goods production: move boxes and containers sensitively – consistent output, spared backs.

04

Workpiece handling

In tool and mould making: guide heavy parts safely and position them precisely.

05

Food industry

For dairy, beverages and meat: usable hygienically with a food-grade Rilsan coating.

06

Explosion-proof areas

In chemicals, coatings and pharmaceuticals (ATEX zones): approved and safe in the explosion-proof version.

Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions about the Elbow Mobile

Does the mobile base plate have to be anchored?

No, that is its purpose. It works with ballast instead of anchors and can therefore be used where drilling is not allowed or where the task only comes up twice a year. The required ballast follows from payload and reach.

Can the unit be moved while in use?

It is repositioned without a load, not driven under load. Moving with a suspended load is the job of a rail system or a crane.

What payload is possible in a mobile version?

60 and 200 kg including the tool. The larger class needs correspondingly more ballast and therefore a bigger base plate – the usual trade-off in mobile use.
